1968 – Rev. and Mrs. Carl Gardner began holding church services in their home on 27 North Fulton Street in York.

1969 – The United Pentecostal Church of York was incorporated and founded.

1969 – Our first church services were held at the Pershing Avenue location.

1970 – The church moved to Dover, PA.

1973 – We purchased an existing church building at 956 North Duke Street in York.

1978 – A new pastor was voted in, Rev. D. Keith Barker.

1979 – Our church name was changed to “Bethel Apostolic Church.”

2000 – Rev. D. Keith Barker resigned as pastor after 22 years of service.

2000 – Associate Pastor of 10 years, Rev. Jerry K. Tipton was installed as pastor.

2003 – We purchased an existing church building at 1550 East 11th Avenue.

2003 – Our church name was changed to “The Pentecostals of York.”
